My answer to this poll is fairgrounds since they have all the elements you need to put on a specialty or an all breed show including, shade, plenty of grass, usually electric for RVs a kitchen facility and at least one building large enough for specialties or grooming at all breeds. I really do think it depends on the type of show. A National, for instance, would be terrible at a park. The building would not be big enough and usually there is not air conditioning. However, I do think we have proven that hotels with convention centers are good for Nationals. I'm also sure there will come a day very soon where we will need to do a convention center or a sport arena due to the size of our entries. I don't think that would be so bad, good facility to show in, space for ring & vendors not an issue, plenty of parking, and hopefully electric for RVs. It would be a more relaxing format with just having one planned dinner for Awards and one for Top 20, we can check out the local flavors, no more hassling over who gets into the host hotel, no more complaints about the cost of the hotel, you make your own reservations. Could be a plesant change.
